UAES, Umuagwo advertises Post-UTME for 2025/2026 Session

The Management of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo, situated in Imo State, Nigeria has graciously announced the upcoming Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME) and Direct Entry Screening exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session of the institution.

In a Press Release signed by the Registrar of the University, Prince Edward Njemanze, prospective candidates who chose, or did not choose, UAES as their first choice were enjoined to apply by adhering strictly to the laid down instructions.

"This is to inform the general public that registration for the 2025/2026 academic session for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME)/Direct Entry Screening of the University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES) Umuagwo Imo state, has commenced.

"Interested candidates who must have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME and who made University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo, Imo State their first choice institution in their application for admission in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Prospective candidates who did not choose UAES as their first choice institution but wish to study in UAES are eligible to apply for PUTME. However, such candidates MUST effect Change of Institution/Course to UAES on the JAMB Portal. This is also applicable to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

• Candidates should be guided by the UTME and O’level subject requirements that are available on the University website:
https://portal.uaes.edu.ng/students/newapplicant

• Candidates must note that after the Cut Off Date for Admission, the access portal for change of university/programme will no longer be available on JAMB CAPS for UAES.

1. Prospective candidates who may wish to register for the Post-UTME can visit the University website: https://portal.uaes.edu.ng/students/newapplicant

2. During registration, candidates are advised to use GSM numbers that are easily accessible to them. This is important for fast and easy communication.

3. Candidates should note that at any point of the screening and admission exercise, if any false information is discovered, such candidate’s application would automatically be disqualified.

MODE OF PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

- Eligible candidates are to pay a Post-UTME fee of Two thousand naira only (N2,000).

- To register, follow the steps outlined below:
- Visit the University website: www.uaed.edu.ng, go to https://portal.uaes.edu.ng/students/newapplicant.
- Click on 2025/2026 UTME Admission Screening OR 2025/2026 Direct Entry Admission Screening.
- Enter your “JAMB Registration Number”.
- Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.
- Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.
- Return to the Application page and enter your “JAMB Registration Number” again.
- Proceed with the completion of the form.
- Submit your application.
- Print out your acknowledgement slip.
The screening mode for the 2025/2026 Academic Session PUTME shall be through the process of internal screening of candidates’ results. All candidates are requested to ensure that their O/Level and Direct Entry results are uploaded on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Friday 10th August, 2025.

Any PUTME application without O’level/ A level result upload on JAMB CAPS will not be processed.
