Tech is a Useful Servant But Dangerous Master

by Fred Nwaozor
It might sound or seem vague to some of us, but it should rather be self-explanatory.

While we continue to enjoy the intrigues and intricacies of tech evolution, we're enjoined to be mindful of its damaging effects.

When allowed to play the role of a master, it brutally erodes our critical thinking ability, which ordinarily ought to be freely showcased by any intellectual.

Tech has obviously but arguably made mankind's activity in today's world easy, superb, effective, and efficient. The list of the needed adjectives is endless.

It's, however, imperative to take into cognizance that the aforementioned merit of tech can only be felt if it's positioned to play the role of a servant rather than master.

If the said tool emerges a master in our personal lives, we would individually become enslaved by its 'hidden' abilities. We would unwittingly become indolent, docile, thoughtless, and lax.

This equally applies to an entity. If a corporate body, for instance, chooses to position tech as a master in the firm, it might be headed for its doom state.

As a student or learner, you aren't left out in this discussion. You must be willing and able to balance the use of your natural brain and your tech tools.

Tech is unarguably a very fantastic and amazing tool that creates, innovates, and elevates. Hence, endeavour to use it, but don't allow it be in charge of your affairs. Think about it.
