The Nigeria's female basketball team, D’Tigress, has graciously won the 2025 FIFA Women’s Afrobasket championship after defeating Mali in the final, on Sunday, 3rd August 2025.

The Rena Wakama-led side clinched the title at the Palais des Sports de Treichville in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
